About VIM Music & Art Academy
VIM Music & Art Academy is a welcoming creative space in Myitkyina where children and young learners explore music and visual arts in a warm, supportive environment. Our academy was founded with a simple belief: every child deserves the chance to discover their creativity and express themselves with confidence.
Our Story
VIM Music & Art Academy began in the Yangyi Aung area of Myitkyina, Kachin State, as a small initiative to bring accessible arts education to the community. In a city where opportunities for music and art training are limited, we wanted to create a place where children could learn, imagine, and grow.
What started as a few classes has grown into a vibrant learning space offering music lessons, drawing, painting, and creative activities. Our students learn through structured lessons, hands‑on practice, and joyful exploration—always supported by caring teachers who guide them at their own pace.
